The Sussex chicken is a dual-purpose utility breed and relatively easy to keep. Sussex chickens are upright, alert, and usually docile. Our hatching eggs are collected daily from our breeding flocks. All eggs selected are good shapes, good size and fresh! The eggs are unwashed, and we recommend for you to let the eggs rest for 24 hours once you’ve received the eggs in the post. This allows the eggs to settle before placing them in the incubator or under a broody hen.
Once your order has been placed, we will start to collect the eggs for your order to ensure that you have the freshest eggs available. This can take up to 3 days. You will get an email confirmation when your order has been dispatched. We do not export eggs outside of the UK.
