What is included in End of Lease Cleaning?
Almost all areas of the building are thoroughly cleaned using a number of commercial cleaning procedures. This includes window cleaning, carpet steam cleaning, machine floor scrubbing, tile and grout cleaning, deep toilet cleaning, thorough dusting and wiping, and washing walls with sugar soap.
Entry ways and reception areas

- Cleaning of ceilings, if necessary
Kitchens
- Machine scrubbing of hard floors. If a part of the kitchen is carpeted, it will be steam cleaned
- Cleaning the sinks using appropriate cleaning chemicals.
- Deep dusting and wiping the inside and outside of cupboards.
- Dusting and wiping the benchtops. In some cases, the benchtops may have built-up dirt. If so, we use additional cleaning techniques.
- If the kitchens have windows, window cleaning will be required.
Bathrooms
- Floors are machine scrubbed. If the floors are tiled, grout cleaning may be required.
- Toilet bowls will need to be thoroughly cleaned. We also ensure that the drainage for commodes, toilets and urinals are fully cleared.
- The toilet walls are washed using sugar soap. This will remove built-up grime and dirt. If the walls are tiled, tile and grout cleaning will be required.
- The air ventilation must be cleaned. We will include this unless it is included in a separate contract with an air-conditioning company.
- Basins will be cleaned using appropriate cleaning chemicals.
- The urinals are cleaned using the appropriate cleaning chemicals. However, it should be noted that some landlords also request the cleaning of urinal drains. In this scenario, we use specific cleaning detergents to remove built-up calcium.
